Calgary Zoo – Foggy and Sparky the Hippos!

Foggy celebrated his 46th birthday last year, he’s the big guy on the left, Sparky is the lovely female on the right:

While we were having the meet and greet with Carrie the Giraffe (see previous post) and learning about Giraffes, Foggy and Sparky decided to make an appearance. The hippopotamuses decided they wanted some attention as well.

    Will you be posting any photos from the all-day meeting? ha

    • Foggy had his birthday when we went to M&M’s wedding, remember? No pictures from the all day meeting, nobody wants to see engineers sleeping.

  2. I just showed Jake this, and he telepathically communicated with the picture. FYI, Foggy said “Hi Jake! I love you! You’re my favourite person who comes to the zoo!”

    • Awesome! Must have been Jake he was looking for when he came out of the water!
