Last week we went to the Calgary Zoo for an all day meeting. It’s a really nice venue for meetings (I also went to a wedding there last year and it was a GREAT place for a wedding).
We didn’t have a lot of time to wander around and the much of the time we did have was spent waiting in line to see the Penguins, I’ll have those pictures later.
We did get to meet Carrie the giraffe who was so sweet and curious.
I have not been to the zoo since I moved a year ago- definitely on my list!
Especially now the Penguins are here!
Carrie is lovely! A wedding in a zoo…now that’s different
Carrie was so lovely! Tomorrow I have pictures of Sparky and Foggy the hippos! (the wedding was REALLY lovely at the zoo and while they went to get pictures done the guests got to wander around the zoo!)
I love the zoo. We spend a lot of time in that particular enclosure because my youngest is obsessed with hippos. He thinks that Foggy has a particular fondness for him, and that he and Foggy are on the same wavelength and talk telepathically.
I LOVE the hippos and have pictures tomorrow, Foggy is awesome. What does he say to your son? I imagine he’s very wise.
